MIND ID

I conducted a valuation of PT Freeport Indonesia's fixed assets and reserves to support the Indonesian government's ownership increase program. Through on-site visits and net present value analysis, I successfully provided a comprehensive valuation report to MIND ID, which became one of the foundations for their acquisition decision.

BASF Asia-Pacific

I served as an appraiser and analyst for BASF Asia-Pacific's joint-venture with Eramet S.A., tasked with acquiring and budgeting for the proposed development site of a high-pressure acid leaching (HPAL) plant. I conducted thorough research on global nickel trends, performed on-site visits to North Halmahera, engaged in discussions with stakeholders, and presented a detailed report highlighting assessment findings and potential challenges, including topography issues and permit considerations.

Novotel Hotel Benoa

Conducted a site visit and collected data to evaluate the hotel's condition and assess the impact of COVID-19 on its value. Delivered a comprehensive report used for financial reporting and internal evaluation.

Airbnb Bangkok Anlysis

I was assigned to analyze strategies for Airbnb's evaluation of hotel prospects in Bangkok amidst challenges in the hospitality industry. I meticulously prepared and analyzed data, including mapping tourist behavior patterns and prospective market analysis. Despite oversupply issues, viable scenarios were identified.

Hotel Booking Demand Prediction

I was assigned to develop a machine learning model to predict hotel booking cancellations in Portugal, given the alarming cancellation rates exceeding 20%. Employing Gradient Boost as Final Model, I achieved a recall value of 77%, accurately identifying potential cancellations.

Mining Management Program

Developed a user-friendly Python-based application for managing mining manpower and equipment, featuring CRUD (Create, Read, Update, Delete) operations. Successfully completed the program, which is now ready for deployment.

Caesar-Cipher Encryption Program

Developed a Python script to decrypt text by shifting characters and matching character frequency to English language norms. The program uses frequency analysis and calculates differences to accurately identify the original message.

Swiftonomics

Investigated the economic impact of Taylor Swift's concerts on hosting cities by collecting data on ticket sales, hotel occupancy rates, flights, and local businesses. Analysis revealed that hotel prices increased by 63%, occupancy rates by 16%, and notable economic growth in some countries, including a 0.2% increase in Singapore's economy and an additional US$ 5.7 billion in the United States.

Spotify Recommendation System

Developed a recommendation system using lyrics as the primary basis by leveraging the Spotify API. Implemented tokenization, stemming, TF-IDF scoring, and Cosine Similarity, resulting in an accurate song recommendation system based on lyrics.
